Nicholette Routhier is a founding core ensemble member of UpLift Physical Theatre. She received her MFA in Ensemble-based Physical Theatre from Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre in 2010 and worked as the School Administrator and Faculty until 2014. She has a BA in Dance from The George Washington University and danced professionally in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for 3 years. She recently produced, directed, and performed in a benefit production of "The Vagina Monologues" by Eve Ensler as a part of V Day, the global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. For the past year, Nicholette lived in a tipi on a farm in Menomonie, WI where she trained and taught primitive skills, martial arts, and primal fitness at ReWild University.
